摘要
We have studied the details of the solvation of alcohol to radical ions using epr. It is shown that one can apply epr in order to 1) elucidate the microscopic details of solvation steps. 2) obtain information about structures of ion pairs, 3) determine the rates of formation and dissociation of solvated complexes. Solvation of isopropyl alcohol to fluorenone ketyl is discussed as a special example.
