POLARIZED ABSORPTION-SPECTRUM AND INTENSITY ANALYSIS OF TRIVALENT NEODYMIUM IN SODIUM BETA'' ALUMINA

摘要
The polarized absorption spectra and intensities of trivalent neodymium-doped sodium-beta" alumina (Nd3+:SBA) were obtained and analyzed using a modified Judd-Ofelt theoretical approach. The sigma and pi polarized intensity parameters show that the behavior of Nd3+ ions in the uniaxial crystal is somewhat complex.
