摘要
Light emitting diodes (available in 6 different colours: blue, green, yellow, orange, red, infrared) are used to construct a low cost-high performance detector for the photometric determination in flow injection analysis. The pattern of absorption at various wavelengths which is characteristic for each analyte and the additivity of the absorbances of two or more components in mixtures at the given wavelengths allow the quantification by least squares procedures in a multivariate analysis scheme. Furthermore, a sophisticated construction of the flow cell using different detection points gives lower prediction errors by the combination of kinetic and wavelength discrimination.
