WEAK COUPLING CALCULATION OF PO-212 USING REALISTIC MATRIX-ELEMENTS

摘要
The structure of the levels of Po212 has been investigated within the model space of the lowest seven neutron and six proton single particle orbits; the matrix elements of Herling and Kuo were used. Agreement between experiment and theory for the lowest six levels, including the recently discovered 8+, is excellent. The isomer of 2.93 MeV is suggested to have spin 16+; the 10+ is not expected to be an isomer.
