摘要
This paper is devoted to the deposition of colloïdal particles from a suspension flowing through a granular bed; we focus on systems where deposition takes place in the bulk of the bed. This deposition is studied in a particular case (clay suspensions flowing through beds of glass beads), through its effects on the transport of the water and of the suspensions. A radioactive tracer is used to detect the colloïd. The analysis of the evolution as filtration proceeds of the residence time distributions brings much information about the deposition. In particular, it provides the amounts of deposited clay with good accuracy. © 1990.
