HALL EFFECT OF A COMPENSATED MAGNETIC METAL PROPORTIONAL TO MB2 IN HIGH-FIELD LIMIT

摘要
The Smit asymmetric scattering on magnetic impurities is introduced into the spherical two-band model of a compensated metal. Hall resistivity ρH, ohmic resistivity ρ, and Hall angle φH are calculated. In the high-field limit ωcτa, we find ρHaMB2c, ρaB2c, tanφHaM, where M is the magnetization and c the impurity concentration. The more usual ρH=R0B+RsM is found to hold only for low fields or uncompensated metals. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
