摘要
A new catalyst system for polyacrylamide gels at low pH has been developed. The system consists of ascorbic acid, ferrous sulfate, and hydrogen peroxide. It is more effective than the usual catalysts (tertiary amine and ammonium persulfate or riboflavin) and not inhibited by molecular oxygen. Separations of highly basic proteins proved the gels to be uniform, versatile, and reproducible. © 1969.
