摘要
The composition of the volatile oil from aerial parts of Mitracarpus scaber Zucc. (Rubiaceae) was investigated in detail by means of gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) techniques. Of the twenty-six compounds identified, eleven were free fatty acids constituting the major components. Hexadecanoic acid was the most abundant component (51.2%). The other major acids were pentadecanoic, (Z)-octadec-9-enoic, tetradecanoic, (ZZ)-octadeca-9,12-dienoic, (Z)-hexadec-9-enoic, octadecanoic, and dodecanoic acids. Minor constituents included six fatty acid esters, two aldehydes and six oxygenated monoterpenoids.
