摘要
Summary: The incidence of venous complications was studied under comparable conditions in more than 2,000 patients, following injection of equipotent doses of thiopentone, methohexitone and two forms of propanidid. There were no differences between the original and the currently available commercial form of propanidid (Epontol). The effects of thiopentone and methohexitone were indistinguishable, but propanidid caused a higher, although still clinically acceptable, incidence of sequelae. © 1969 John Sherratt and Son Ltd.
