REGGE-POLE MODEL WITH ABSORPTIVE CORRECTION CUTS FOR PHOTOPRODUCTION OF CHARGED PIONS

A Regge-pole model for the isovector photon part of the π± photoproduction amplitude is reported. It is shown that Regge cuts generated by absorption can explain the forward peak in charged pion photoproduction if one uses evasive π and A2 exchanges. The pion trajectory must be chosen rather flat. For large values of momentum transfer, the fit to the data is fair. © 1969.
