RECONCILIATION OF BUBBLE-SIZE ESTIMATION METHODS USING DRIFT FLUX ANALYSIS

摘要
The bubble size estimation methods using drift flux analysis are discussed. The discrepancies among the methods of Dobby et al. [3], Yianatos et al. [5] and Xu and Finch [4] are resolved. Computationally the method of Dobby et al. is preferred over that of Yianatos et al. The simplified version of Xu and Finch is of particular interest for modelling gas holdup vs gas rate when bubble size changes with gas rate.
