摘要
The crystal structures of the hydrohalides of α-d-glucosamine have been redetermined with projection data. Least-squares refinements with three-dimensional x-ray intensity data have been carried out and the final R indices are 0.118 and 0.098 for the hydrochloride and the hydrobromide respectively. The glucopyranose ring is in the chair form. The molecules in the structure are stabilized by a system of hydrogen bonds. It appears that the ring oxygen 0(4) is involved in the formation of a bifurcated hydrogen bond of the type N-H. O. © 1969, Walter de Gruyter. All rights reserved.
