摘要
Numerical simulations presently provide the most promising approach to the study of quantum chromodynamics in the nonperturbative regime. The theoretical framework for these studies is described, and the computing resources necessary to carry out calculations are discussed. Results are presented from recent studies of hadron thermodynamics and the hardon mass spectrum which illustrate the present state of the art.
