摘要
The relationship between the moisture status of the drying bed and the humidity of the drying air during the drying of 83 batches of freshly harvested wheat are reported. Each bed, 2 ft deep, was dried from either 35 or 45% to 13·6% m.c. (d.b.) by parallel through flow heated air. Typical exhaust air humidity and top grain layer moisture content data are given. The effects of changes in rate of flow and temperature of the drying air on the relationships between exhaust air humidity and the moisture status of the drying bed are indicated. © 1968.
