TRIPLOIDS AND MALE DETERMINATION IN THE MOSQUITO, ANOPHELES-CULICIFACIES

摘要
One family of Anopheles culicifacies was isolated in which all individuals examined (4 out of 13) were triploid. The one male examined was XXY, suggesting that unlike Drosophila the Y chromosome in this species may be important in male determination. © 1979 American Genetic Association.
