摘要
A fully retimed 11 Gbit/s optical digital system using a directly-modulated DFB laser and clock recovery circuitry is tested in long span transmission experiments incorporating two Er-doped fibre amplifiers. Non-regenerated transmission on 260 km of dispersion-shifted fibre is demonstrated. © 1990, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.
