摘要
Anilines undergo oxidative carbonylation in the presence of methanol, carbon monoxide, oxygen and base. Elemental sulfur or low molecular sulfur derivatives (CS2, COS) were studied as new and efficient catalysts at temperatures 393-423 K and pressure 8-13 MPa. Methyl-N-phenyl carbamate as product is formed through N,N'-diphenylurea as an intermediate. Studies of the methanolysis of this intermediate have shown, that this reaction step is catalysed by bases and does not need CO, oxygen or sulfur catalyst.
