摘要
Five samples of zeolite omega have been synthesized under various experimental conditions in order to produce crystals exhibiting different chemical compositions and morphologies. **2**9Si and **2**7Al MAS n. m. r. spectroscopy have been used to determine the Al content of the framework and the Si-Al distributions over the two nonequivalent crystallographic sites. For all samples, a preferential location of the Al atoms in the six-membered rings of the gmelinite columns is observed. Moreover, the Al distribution can change greatly from sample to sample, even for similar overall aluminium contents.
