摘要
A review and comparison of five models for transient-state deep bed filtration including one which was recently developed by the present authors is presented. To facilitate the comparison, all the models are presented in a format which can be used to obtain the relationship between the increase of the filter coefficient with the extent of deposition. Comparisons between the models and between model predictions and experiments indicate the importance of the permeability of deposit layer and the deposit morphology in determining the effect of deposition.
