摘要
The relative importance of scalar, pseudoscalar, and tensor T- and P-odd electron-nucleon operators and the electron electric dipole moment in contributing to the electric dipole moments of various large atoms of experimental interest (Cs, Tl, Xe, Hg, and TlF) is analyzed. This analysis is carried out in the context of a general classification of the kinds of particle-physics theories which can give rise to these operators.
