Contributions to the Chemistry of Phosphorus, 206. ‐ The Cyclic Silaphosphanes (tBuSi)4P2Cl6, (tBuSiP)4H2Cl2, and (tBuSiP)4HC1 ‐ Precursors of the Silaphosphacubane (tBuSiP)4 The reaction of tBuSiCl3 with LiAl(PH2)4 yields the silaphosphacubane 2. Besides the compounds 1,3, and 4, which were already identified, three additional silaphosphanes (tBuSi)4‐P2Cl6 (5), (tBuSiP)4H2Cl2 (6), and (tBuSiP)4HCl (7) have been found representing precursors of 2. According to NMR spectroscopic investigations, 5, is a derivative of 1,3‐diphospha‐2,4‐disiletane, whereas 6 and 7 exhibit a structure analogous to norcubane and secocubane, respectively.
