摘要：

A computer program was written to calculate the economic value of feeds relative to a corn and soybean meal mixture. Results of this program were compared with Morrison values and competitive prices from linear programming solutions. The program is used to introduce students to the concept of evaluating feedstuffs economically based on nutrient content and as a transition to the use of linear programing to balance rations.
