摘要
Originally the efficiencies, φ‘‘s, of populating the sensitizing charge-transfer excited states of Ru(II) and Os(II) photosensitizers were claimed to be unity. Recent experimental results have raised questions concerning this claim. This paper reexamines the question of the φ‘‘s, of these photosensitizers. With both photochemical and spectroscopic data, the early claim of unity φ‘‘s, is supported. © 1979, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
