摘要：

Velocity measurements carried out in a rectangular laboratory flume having a gravel bed are presented. The measurements are carried out for four different bed shapes, characterized from different concentrations of coarser elements, and for the two conditions of small- and large-scale roughness. The analysis showed that the Dean profile is usable to establish the velocity profile for both hydraulic conditions. For small-scale hydraulic condition an indirect estimate procedure of the coefficients of Dean profile is proposed.
