摘要
The reaction d(v̄e,e+)2n has been observed using antineutrinos from a powerful fission reactor. The measured cross section σ̄expt=3.0±1.5×10-45 cm2/fission v̄e is consistent with expectations, σ̄theor=2.4±0.4×10-45 cm2/fission v̄e, based on the two-component neutrino theory and elementary considerations regarding the structure of the deuteron. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
