摘要
A soliton transmitter for an ultrahigh-speed optically time-division multiplexed soliton transmission is proposed that combines a monolithically integrated MQW-DFB-LD/MQW-EA modulator light source with a dispersion decreasing fibre. The resultant pulse width and time-bandwidth product are 2.5ps and 0.33, respectively, at 15GHz repetition rate.
