摘要
The structure of a new intermetallic compound, Cu3Mn2Al, has been found to be a cubic Laves phase but showing an antiferromagnetic structure up to its decomposition temperature, Estimates of the Néel temperature place this in excess of 600°C. The antiferromagnetism arises from the manganese selectively ordering in two 4-fold sites with opposite spins but equal moments of {reversed tilde}4.5μB. © 1968.
