摘要
A coccidian, identified as a species of Adelina, was found in larvae, pupae, and adults, but not in eggs, of laboratory-reared and natural populations of the dermestid beetle Trogoderma parabile Beal. Oocysts, sporocysts, merozoites, schizonts, macrogametocytes, microgametocytes, and zygotes were observed. Infection probably occurs through ingestion of oocysts by larvae and adults. Attempts to infect three other species of dermestids and four other stored products beetles were unsuccessful. © 1969.
