DEEP EXPONENTIAL-DISTRIBUTION OF TRAPS IN NAPHTHALENE

摘要
The long-time decay of the surface potential of corona-charged naphthalene crystals has been analyzed. The decay curves are explained using an exponential distribution of traps of the form exp[-(E-1.1 eV)/kTc], where T c∼600°K. The total number of traps is estimated to be approximately 1013/cm3. The long-time decay is also evidence for dispersive transport in crystalline material due to a distribution of traps.
