摘要
The energy loss per unit length experienced by swift electrons in STEM is calculated for trajectories parallel to plane boundaries with dispersive media. Dispersion corrects the logarithmic divergence of the local energy loss probability at the interface given by the local approach. The effect of damping is also studied, and results are related to the spatial resolution in EELS experiments. © 1990.
