摘要
A Coulomb polarization potential is obtained by solving the inverse problem for the elastic component of the Coulomb-excitation S matrix. It takes account of multiple excitation and, for heavier systems, exhibits significantly less absorption than existing single-excitation potentials. © 1979 The American Physical Society.
