ON THE NATURE OF LEWIS ACIDIC SITES IN HIGH SILICA ZEOLITES AND THE MECHANISM OF THEIR DEHYDROXYLATION

摘要
Low temperature adsorption of molecular hydrogen with IR examination of its perturbation was used as a molecular probe in the study of dehydroxylation of decationized high-silica zeolites. Both low coordinated lattice Si and A1 atoms were detected and differences in the mechanisms of the dehydroxylation of zeolites prepared by direct chemical synthesis and by deep dealumination were studied.
