摘要
The limiter module positioning system for ALT-II is described, with emphasis on the components which operate in the high vacuum, high temperature TEXTOR environment. The design constraints imposed by the environment are discussed, including material compatibility and vacuum lubrication. The development of each component operating inside TEXTOR is described. Problems with the system's universal joints are reported, and the current status of system performance is given.
