摘要
This paper reviews the operational research aspects of power dispatch since their inceptions to the present. The classic single criterion dispatch as well as new multicriteria approaches in dispatching, oriented both toward economy and avoidance of unacceptable environmental impact, are summarized. The paper focuses on some of the operational research issues in optimization-based solution methods.
