摘要：

Large single crystals of AgBr with definite crystallographic orientations have been grown from the melt by causing the halide to solidify against an inert crystalline plate. Mica, MgO, and LiF plates produced crystal sheets with (111) surfaces; spodumene sometimes yielded a (110) surface; LiF and mica sometimes gave a (100) surface. Oriented crystals contain bubbles which are rectilinear in outline and oriented. © 1969.
