摘要
Conduction-band electrons, formed by pulse radiolysis of Degussa P25 TiO2 particles, have been monitored by time-resolved microwave conductivity and found to undergo equilibrium localization and eventual recombination at the particle surface. In the presence of isopropyl alcohol recombination is retarded due to surface hole scavenging. The particle bulk can then be pumped with mobile electrons, which survive for seconds.
