摘要
Parameters for the Benedict-Webb-Rubin equation of state extend its range of validity to the low temperatures now encountered in natural gas processing. The components covered are methane, ethylene, ethane, propylene, propane, 2-methylpropane, 2-methylpropene, n-butane, 2-methylbutane, n-pentane, n-hexane, n-heptane, n-octane, n-nonane, n-decane, benzene, hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide. Although the pure component properties of all these compounds are accurately accounted for by a modified form of the BWR equation, special binary mixture parameters had to be determined to correlate known thermodynamic properties. © 1969, American Chemical Society.
