摘要：

Successful aging was defined as survival to age 75 with good health and happiness. The best predictors of successful aging were initial health and happiness, which together correctly predicted the success status of 74% of the sample. The strongest explanatory factors were secondary group activities and physical activities. Thus, group and physical activities may contribute to successful aging. © 1979 Oxford University Press.
