摘要
Macrocycles of type 2 with up to 26 ring atoms (n = 22) are available in very good yields by photo electron transfer (PET) initiated decarboxylation of the anions of N‐phthaloyl‐ω‐aminocarboxylic acids 1. The electron transfer is favored as a result of intramolecular K+‐mediated chelation; however, it can also occur efficiently over larger donor‐acceptor distances. (Figure Presented.)
