摘要
In recent years, significant progress has been made in technologies aimed at the improvement of television picture quality through the elimination of multipath fading effects and ghosting. Ghosts, which appear as horizontally shifted, attenuated duplicate images of a main broadcast picture, can range in complexity from a single delay path reflection to multiple, time-varying distorted images. This paper discusses an approach to the simulation of such distortion phenomena, ranging from fixed path transmissions to moving reflectors, transmitters and receivers. Specific examples include geographical obstacles, airplane flutter, tower sway and reception under mobile conditions.
