摘要
The energy levels of 38Ca excited by the 36Ar(3He, n) reaction have been investigated by neutron time-of-flight techniques. The previously unobserved 38Ca analogues of the 3.377 MeV 0+ and the 3.936 MeV 2+ states in 38Ar have been seen at 3.06 MeV and 3.69 MeV, respectively. The vanishing of the Coulomb pairing energy appears to account for the lowering of the excitation energy of 38Ca states compared to their 38Ar analogues. © 1969.
