摘要
In order to obtain the energy levels of a mixed-valence [Fe4S4]3+ cubane-type cluster, we develop a model that takes into account the electron delocalization within the cluster as well as the superexchange interactions. Trends of level pattern are discussed as a function of the sign and magnitude of transfer intergrals, and compared with those obtained on mixed-valence dimers and trimers.
