SUPERCONDUCTING FILMS IN THE Y-BA-CU-O SYSTEM MADE BY THERMAL-DECOMPOSITION OF METAL CARBOXYLATES

摘要
The thermal decomposition of metal carboxylates is used to prepare superconducting YBa//2Cu//3O//7// minus //x films with a thickness of 2-6 mu m on SrTiO//3, ZrO//2 and MgO single crystal substrates by means of a dip-coating and spin-coating process. The quality of the films is characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy and by measuring the resistance and critical current density as a function of temperature. Films with a transition temperature of 84 K and a critical current density of 6 multiplied by 10**5 A/m**2 at 77 K have been obtained.
