摘要
Variation in chromosome number from 2 n=9 to 2 n=7 was found in a species of leafhopper, Alodeltocephalus draba. It is argued that this variation is due to chromosome fusion and that A. draba is presently evolving to a lower number. The process of reduction is more advanced in some populations than in others. © 1969 Springer-Verlag.
