SYNTHESIS AND PURIFICATION OF [1-P-32]FRUCTOSE-1,6-BISPHOSPHATE WITH HIGH SPECIFIC RADIOACTIVITY

摘要
The straightforward, rapid synthesis and purification of radiochemically pure [1-32P]fructose-1,6-bisphosphate starting from radioactively labeled inorganic phosphate is described. The product has a relatively high specific radioactivity (2 × 105 Ci/mol). Using this method, carrier-free [1-32P]fructose-1,6-bisphosphate could be obtained. The use of [1-32P]fructose-1,6-bisphosphate in the assay of fructose bisphosphatase is illustrated. © 1979.
