摘要：

Irrigation reduced the incidence of common scab (Streptomyces scabies (Thaxt.) Waksman and Henrici) on both cv. King Edward and cv. Majestic potato tubers grown on sandy soil. Moist soil conditions for two to three weeks after the crop achieved 20 per cent ground cover gave a significant control of the disease. Commercial control was obtained by irrigating the soil to field capacity when the plants were just touching along the drills. Copyright © 1969, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
