摘要
The influence of the technological parameters of carbon-carbon composites on the mechanical properties has been studied. The relation between the microstructure and physical properties of carbon-carbon composites is determined. Different types of carbon reinforcement and various methods of densification (liquid impregnation and the CVD method) of the carbon matrix have been used. The significant influence of intermediate graphitization on the ultimate properties of pitch-impregnated carbon-carbon composites was found. The material discussed was used for constructional elements displaying higher stiffness and chemical resistance and as a material for medicine with a specified biodegradation time in the body. The elasticity of such materials is close to that of bone.
