摘要
The transposition of chemical heat pumps (CHPs) from laboratory plant to pilot scale necessitates the development of an operating method to control the CHP's cycling. Numerical modelling of discontinuous operating cycles has brought to light the presence of certain irregularities in performances. Research carried out on the chaining of the various phases has led to the development of cycles which allows a better management of the potential of the CHP. The simulation of an installation comprising two solid-gas reactors operating out of phase with one another has shown that it is possible to achieve pseudo-continuous operation from a solid-gas CHP. The phase chaining rules developed have thus led to an optimization of the operating cycles. The present work constitutes the basis of optimal heat pump control by developing the simulation tool and identifying the operational irregularities. © 1990.
