摘要
A new technique for quiet gradient coil design in magnetic resonance imaging is proposed. Preliminary results on a test coil show acoustic noise attenuation behaviour consistent with theory. Active acoustic screening will significantly reduce the dangers to patients of high-level exposure to noise in medical resonance imaging scanners.
