摘要
The nitrogen analogue of molecular P4O10 is contained in Li10P4N10 as the new P4N 1010− ion 1. The packing of the complex units in the solid is significantly more compact than in phosphorus(v) oxide. This can be attributed to the ionic structure, which, surprisingly, is derived from the cubic As4O6 structure. The title compound is synthesized by solid‐state reactions of binary nitrides.
